Safety culture
ABC commits to providing a safe work environment by encouraging an atmosphere and culture where workers protect themselves and fellow workers. We do this through company-specific policies and procedures, specialized labour, and having an HSE Plan. We are WHMIS, WSBC and CSTS-09 certified.
We are proud of our safety record. On the Kitimat Modernization Project, we worked 170,000 hours with zero recordable lost-time incidents. Our current classification rate is 0.70.
